Jo Deeley is a Textile Deisgner works with different textures and methods to create sculptural shapes and designs. particularly interested in making three dimensional fabrics using traditional methods, weaving, knitting, plaiting and knotting as well as more untraditional methods by folding and pressing fabric.
She is a graduate of Loughborough University in the U.K. I studied Multi-media Textile Design (Bachelor of Arts) and have recently completed a Masters Degree in Textile Art. She have sold samples at 'Indigo' in Paris and to companies in the UK interested in new textiles and produced commissions of textile art sculptures for public and private display. She enjoys creating large scale pieces and have also had the priviledge of being a part of several group sculpture projects
